Fine sleeping accomodations
While flying back to Baghdad via Balad (Iraq) via Ali Al Salem (Kuwait) via Al Asad (Iraq) via Al Udeid (Qatar), Supercuban Wonderboy made an interesting observation: People sleeping next to each other tended to sleep in the same position. I’d noticed it once before, not on this flight, but when he pointed it out it was not just one or two sets of people. We even watched as people shifted positions at the same time to the same position.
Observe:

And these two…they might as well just spoon. They take sharing sleeping styles to the next level. I present to you, Stitch and The Stripper, two lovely gentlemen that provided entertainment all the way through the flight home. Click to download the short video:

Must have been some top-secret stuff you had to block out on pic #3.
And I’m surprised “frick and frack” weren’t holding hands while they were bobbing in unison! Hilarious!
Kristina
That IS hilarious! How did you keep from snortling and waking them up?
Dan
yeah pop, like their names… Im guessing you don’t post pictures of soldiers with their names and i.d’s. If you notice, all of the pictures have been altered. Keep up the posting, Karyn. What kind of planes did you travel on? Navy, Air Force? They look like the inside of C-130’s to me.

K1: We were laughing quite loudly at one point - notice that they both have earplugs in. They didn’t hear any of it.
Dan - the flight there was a C-130, the flight back was a C-17 (both USAF). These pictures were from the flight back. That is one gigantic plane!!

I have watched that video so many times now and each time I crack myself up with laughter, this is classic stuff!
